It was reported by the Center for Substance Abuse Research (at the University of Maryland) that Suboxone became the 28th leading drug for retail sales in 2012 for all prescription medications. Suboxone utilization, and relates sales, have increased year after year with dramatic adoption seeming to have occurred particularly since 2007 when sales went over the $200 million mark.
